Supra has taken up permanent residence on the grey area that now blurs the line between skate shoes and fashion. Not that the shoes can’t be skated in, but the style of many of the colorways seems more appropriate for someone “making it rain,” rather than those tearing up a pair of shoes every week or two. Nonetheless, it’s not hard to see that the Supra “Krew” knows what they’re doing. They’ve created the NS line for the non-skate fashionistas, and the TUF line for those that do put the shoes through the rigors of skating.
For the spring a couple of new TUF editions of the Cruizer, as well as standard issue Cruizer lows will be hitting retailers. Sneakerheads will appreciate the color choices, as Supra has taken some classics from back in the day for the somewhat Jordan IV inspired silhouette. You might recall last year they dropped the “Grape” inspired colorway, but this season Supra goes with the Military Blue and Fire Red inspired colorways of the Supra Cruizer. A third colorway looks as if it could have come from a “Supra Knows” ad campaign.
They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery right?
